Front ESA connector removal

Post by johnvw »

Hi to all,
I am in the process of removing the front and rear ESA shocks from R12 2012. Rear removal ( connectors ) no problems.
For the front I can feel the ESA lead disappearing up under the front of the tank, but thats all. The tank has been backed up to reveal the shock top nut, any more rearward movement may require disconnecting the fuel lines, which I prefer not to do at this stage.
Previously I have fitted a Booster Plug and raised the rear of the tank ( NOT a good thing to do with a full tank of juice, lesson learned).
Any ideas just where the connector is and just how to gain access ??.

Many thanks in advance and Merry Xmas and safe motoring to all the Forum members and their nearest and dearest.
Regards
John
