Directional Signal cancellation.

Post by mogu83 »

Recently the wire to the rear wheel speed sensor was cut. Came loose from the clip and rubbed on the rear rotor. Break Failure light, easily diagnosed with GS911 and had a spare on hand. Afterward noticed my turn signals no longer canceled. I noticed one other person had the same problem but didn't post the resolve, if any. I looked with the GS911 and can see the lamps (directional) turning on and off, but no place that shows a timer.

Any thoughts?? :?:

My signals (04 R1150R) were always manual turn off required..yours were on a timer? I know using a "signal minder" auto cancel is an option IF the running light option is not used.. cant have both..

Interesting. BUT the R1200R is can-bus and directionals are computer controlled.

There is a way to reset the length of delay of the self cancellation gs911, maybe it got reset to no delay when the repair was completed or the sensor was damaged?

If I remember correctly, it was under special functions section, if that's what it is even called.
