S1000RR in Jessup, Md.

Post by websterize »

Apparently, there are two touring the United States. Saw this one today at Bob's BMW in Jessup, Md. Sportbike weekend is tomorrow and Saturday, so check it out. About 500 in Europe now, according to a salesman. They land here in December. The staff were all a-drool.

Big potential as long as BMW stays the course with them. I like it from what I have read, waiting to see one up close.....

I'm looking forward to World Superbike this year...

Should be a good scrap!

I think BMW will do a lot better this year now that they have some track data and experience at each of the circuits.

I agree, there's blood in the water and they're poised for a feeding frenzy.

I don't see how BMW won't dominate this year, after doing so well on a brand new machine. With the data you speak of and a winter to get it sorted, they should kick ass.

I will feel bad abandoning Noriyuki Haga on the Yamaha, he's been my man for many years... sorry Nori!

Go Troy!

Gonna be fun!

I'm considering a ride down to Utah for the WSB this May. If not that, then maybe to the MotoGP at Laguna Seca in July.

It was great to see a sittable S1000RR at the bike show this year -

LOL you look like the dog with the proverbial football there LumpyCam! You're too much man for that girly little bike... and you look MAD too! Was it squashed nut syndrome?
