2005 rockster CCP removed, no miracle???

Post by zaebis »

Folks,

I keep hearing all those stories about how removing CCP (coding plug) does wonders to a bike. Well did that on mine. No workie. Bike wouldnt even start without CCP. Does that CCP removal trick only work for single ignition 1150 and 1100s ?

riceburner +1, Yes you removed the wrong one.

The CCP is located in the middle row, starting from the left there should be a hole (US bikes) and then a Yellow (US bikes)plug in on a WHITE BASE that's the CCP. Make sure you reset the ECU.

Good luck
