S1000RR Encounter

Post by Mark_1 »

Leaving town this morning for the first commute with the new R1200R I ended up riding along with a S1000RR – great looking motorcycle! The rider did a nice wheelie for me, but waited at the next stop sign and gave the new R1200R a thumbs up. Thought that was a good omen for the new bike. He was obviously a good guy (on the younger side) and since my bike is still in the break in period (70 total miles) I did not feel like showing him up and let him go on ahead. Nice way to start the day.

One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them; the S1000R's will soon be here. And I for one welcome our new S1000R overlords. I’d like to remind them that as a trusted TV personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground Unleaded caves.
