Beautiful weather=long ride

Post by VanDan »

The weather here has been fabulous for early May so I took advantage and went for a 600km ride to test my new seat and fairing.

The route:

Both passed with flying colours.

Wow what great photos, looks like it must have been a very nice ride.

I especially like this one:

Where is that lake and what mountain is that? Awesome, just awesome.

Nice bike too.

Edit: is it Mount Garibaldi?

That picture is from the north end of Duffey Lake looking southwest.

I believe it is Mt Rohr but not 100% on that.

B. C. is such a beautiful place, I am jealous.

I visited there once, 20 years ago or so. It was amazing. We climbed Mt Sir Donald in Glacier NP, one of the most frickin' awesome climbs I've ever done.

Photo not mine. We climbed the left ridge.

I'd sure love to ride my MC all around that area on a fine sunny day like yours was. Amazing!

Our last trip through Whistler, caught Duffy Lake windless and flat smooth, good reflection of the hillside to north, plus millions of mosquitos.

We're overdue for another trip to Calgary.

Nice pics - thanks for posting.
