Any of you going to this?
I've never been to a Rally and do not know what to expect.
Any FL BMW club members out there?

Been there twice. One of the best east coast rallies you will find.
Price includes 4 days camping, and 2 home cooked tasty dinners, lotsa good door prizes.

Free coffee all day, and a 5 buck breakfast daily.

They close off the back of the Watkins Glen campground for the rally.
Pavillions, vendors, food, it's good.

The riding is stellar.

If you go, try the brunch at the BellHurst Castle, have a virgin bloody mary. Fine dining on Seneca Lake for around $20.

The Curtis Museum in Hammondsport is also a great stop.

The bike that set the 1906 land speed record at 137 mph is there....
But the place is all about SPEED. Air, land, water.

Got unbreakable plans this coming Labor Day, so I will miss it, unless a miracle happens.

Been going to this rally for a bunch of years and IMHO it has to be the best, or at least one of the best, rallies put on by a local club. Be prepared for wide extremes in weather from freezing cold to cooking hot and last year was -- well it was very wet.

No mater what the weather dishes out I've always had a good time.

This will be they first time I actually go on a Beemer.

I live in Waterloo and have been going to the Belhurst since I was a teenager. It's a good place and I suppose we take it for granted sometimes.

I've also been to the Glenn Curtiss Museum and have seen the bike referred to.

I picked up my R in early August last year. I hadn't had a bike for years and was still getting my sea legs back. I rode down to the rally grounds on the Friday of the rally but didn't have time to stick arouund.

I am looking forward to attending this year.
