It is amazing how much water the jeans can wick up under your overpants.
As long it doesn't wick up over my underpants.

Thanks, Bob. All of that info will be good for the different groups going out each day. The maps, already highlighted, is a nice touch too. THANKS!!

Boxermania - I'll 2nd the Kelts Irish Pub!

Looks like fun and good food!

Ha! and even though it's as "american-irish" as you can get, maybe they'll even have a Killian's for my wife!!!

The only 'group' thing really planned is the Sat. night meal and 'soriee' (Boxer's term). So I'm sure you could gather up some folks to head to the Pub anytime during the weekend or even after dinner Saturday night, if it is open late. It's about 10-15 miles away, if I remember correctly - so .......... drive responsibly after an evening at the Pub, ya know.

Gypsy....Saturday day dinner and related activities is a given. That gives the attendees an opprtunity to wind down and interact with their fellow riders, spouses and friends.

I'm sure there will be some story telling....Mike Cam and Boxer being present and fish stories alike......looking forward to it.....

Actually the pictures that I shot from BBI and BBII have provided me with a steady income.....just kiddin'.....

Can we get a room for Thursday night?
We can be there Thursday, if we can go ahead and get a room, otherwise we'll stop somewhere close by when we get tired of driving.

Boxer,

I told Joan about my weather concerns coming from IL, and that we were trying to get there Thursday evening. But, if we had bad weather, we may have to stay over somewhere on the way down.

She was very understanding and was fine with me calling her as soon as possible should I not need the room Thursday.

Give her a call, I bet there are Thurs. rooms available.

Spent the weekend in Devil's Den (near Fayetteville), passing Ozark on Friday and Sunday, thinking about ya'll for the Arkansas in Autumn mini-Bash. Leaves are just beginning to turn; depending on weather, you may just catch some peak colors.

I'm pre-committed to spend next weekend at Mt. Nebo. Will try to ride over and visit ya'll in Ozark, tho. Curious to put faces/etc. to screen names. Whether I catch up with ja or not, I think you will have a great trip.

I'm shooting for Thursday PM before nightfall, but we know how that usually works out.

I'm avoiding as much interstate and all big (or medium size) cities. The bash may be over before I get there

Hope all have safe traveling.

I hope so, Dave. As long as everyone has a good time and arrives and returns home safely - that's all I'm hoping for - and good weather!! I believe 75% of the people are traveling more than 500 miles - so everyone ride safely.

I'm returning to Texas on Monday and then leaving for Africa on Wednesday, so I'm not real sure when I'll have time to write a ride report. Perhaps on the flight over there, and then I'll send it as soon as I can get internet in Kenya.

I prefer to do my heavy drinking at the hotel, and ride to bed from there. :smt030
