How am I gonna get that case of Old Style? And suck it up, you are a hockey player. :D

Hope you are felling better soon.

DUDE ! WTF ! Didn't anyone tell you you're too old to be playing hockey ? Let us know how things go.

BTW Steve, Tony K-Bike just picked up a new GT last Saturday at BMW Manhattan. He, I, and Big Josh met at the dealer prior to going to the NY Auto Show and one things lead to another....

If you have the surgery will it mess up your plans for Wyoming ?

OU812 - tough luck on the rotator! It takes awhile to come back from that. I was playing over-35 baseball and had rotator surgery to extend an already over-extended career. I was about 43 or so at the time. It took a year to regain the strength in the throwing arm, but I came back and played a few more years. Still throwing good at 48, when I played my last game. Also let me be the most durable batting practice pitcher for the Little League teams! All the younger guy's arms were shot!

BTW, I was a catcher, so that nearly qualifies me as a hockey player, right! :P

ow, sorry to hear about your shoulder steve. you don't use the chicago blackhawks as a club to emulate do you? :p

we have a room opening, and it's not steve's. so it may be two rooms open if he cancels. I believe LostViking and was it daryl-stamp were looking for rooms? or did daryl get one?

so, a two bedroom room has opened up. let me know who wants it.

OU812 - Hope the MRI is good news and you can avoid surgery. Tough to ride if they cut. Told me not to lift my arm over my head for about a month!

If you get the surgery and come anyway, we can compare scars!

whoa!!! Just cause I measure beer consumption in liters doesn't make me a lush...does it?

it seems that we may have three rooms opened. RBrider is out and I have my room available for anyone who wants to stay in the main house. I figured on moving to the overflow to keep those degenerates from feeling lonely. (snuggling will cost WAY more than the 60$ /night!)

so tell your friends we have some openings! I'd like to keep both places filled, though it's not a necessity.

I ran across this on the LDRider list. Looks like the Bash will be at the tail end of a statewide safety crack down on speeding in Pennsylvania.

My Public Service announcement for the month...please pass along to others
who reside in the Keystone state.

In case you didn't notice yesterday, the police were out in force. I saw
speed traps set up on route 15 by Old Lycoming Township and 220 North in two
different locations that were doing a great business. So if you like to wick
it
up to the ton or more, ______________ keep reading.

Starting April 12th, Pennsylvania will launch a 30 day speeding ticket
frenzy. The state estimates that 9 million dollars will be generated in
speeding
tickets. 1 million will go to pay state troopers' overtime. There will be
50 state troopers on duty at all times patrolling the 9 main intersections
and
highways. They are the following:

Rte. 1 north and south

I-180 north and south

I-99 north and south

I-95 north and south

I-279 north and south

I-276 east and west

I-376 east and west

I-76 east and west

I-80 east and west

I-79 north and south

I-70 east and west

PA-60

PA-61 Hermey's BMW

PA-66

US-15

US-220

US-22 & 322

5 mph above the limit can justify a ticket and every state trooper is
supposed to pull a car over and write a ticket every 10 to 20 minutes.
They have
issued 30 brand new unmarked Dodge Charger Police cruisers and are bringing
in all of their part timers on full time. If you work in western
Pennsylvania
, you will probably take one of these highways. It's up to you how fast
you
are going when they clock you.

KDKA and WDVE & CBS3 confirmed all of this. So ride hard and don't forget
speeding tickets are on you.

Driving Ticket fine increase in PA:

Starting on August 15th, the price of a ticket for violation of PA Law
39:3-29 (failure to show your driver's license, registration, or insurance
card at
the time you are stopped) is going from $44.00 to $173.00

Please make sure your vehicles have the proper documents in them. If you
jump on the motorcycle and run to the store and forget your wallet with
your
license and are stopped, ....you just spent $173. And the fine for not
having
all three documents are $519 !!!

Still don't know if I can make this years Bash, but If I do I will just camp. I might have to go to the second round of the NCAA Div 1 lacrosse tournament that weekend. My nephew plays midfield for Syracuse and he is rated one of the top 10 players in the country, so I will have to go see him play.

Update to the PA speed enforcement. True or false? Fact or fiction? Here are some links in response to the original post. Either way it looks like the roads will be clear in PA for the Bash.

http://www.snopes.com/politics/traffic/speeding.asp

I'll go with the snopes.com information.

I think the Bash was/is planned for the right weekend. Talk about timing. Let's hope that "writers cramp" has set in and they are all on "light duty" with carpal tunnel syndrome or some other related malady. It's all about the money.
