OU812 - Sorry you will have to have the surgery; sounds like you really tore it up!

Come anyway. We would only make fun of an able-bodied rider that showed up bike-less. You are on Injured Reserve and therefore get a free pass from all harassment and a triple dose of sympathy because we all could be in your shoes!

Hey guys,

I posted some time ago that I want to make the Bash again this year. I still do, but I have not made any lodging arrangements. I have had some unfortunate medical problems with more to come and surgery at some point. I think I can keep the sawbones away from me until after the Bash. I am going to read back through the thread and find out what is going on and see if I can squeeze in somewhere.

Oh, and with a tiny bit of luck I will be riding a new beast.... a black 2008 K1200S with all the goodies.

Hope to see you guys there.

If I ride there I will be a legend! My cousin went back to work after 20 days off...so I will just have to see where I am at pain wise. [-o<

Check with scottybooj; there may be openings at either location. They are only .4 miles apart.

Bash Attendees, as one of the self appointed historians……

The official Bash count is:

4 on the East Coast (NC, WV, OH, WV)
1 on Texas (Big Bend)
1 on the West Coast (UT)
1 one in Arkansas (Ozark)

This will be the 5th anniversary of the event. As such, I would like to propose that this magical event be dedicated to the gentleman that came up with the original idea for the gathering and unfortunately because of an unfortunate turn in events never saw it come to fruition.
... Bash I came together from the though of a member, no longer with us, Yukon Cornelious, from Warren, IN and was picked up by Whaycoc, DSKYZD, redpigmy and yours truly....
That being said I would like to ask any of those in attendance that were part of Beakster Bash I to dedicate a small portion of the time in remembrance of our friend YUKON CORNELIOUS and pass along the memories to the new attendees as they are part of a unique bond and tradition.

Not being able to attend, it would make me and the BBI attendees feel good about paying tribute to a fallen comrade.......and the lovely family he left behind, may he rest in peace.

Ride hard, ride safe and may God bless you all.

Schedules are finally falling in place and have left the weekend of the Bash open for me, so now I have a chance to go. Not positive yet, but I'm working toward that end. Woo Hoo.
