Is it too early to plan the next Northeast Bash?

Post by Daryl_stamp »

MLW & I just finished a two-up trip to Wisconsin & back. Had a blast and are ready for more.
Anybody recognize this place?

Here's a hint;

One of the WI, MI & ON are cool but the Fingerlakes in NY has more to offer than I used to think.
Anybody up for coming this far north?

Sure, I'm game. Plan it, and we will come.

OK; here goes. I live in the Fingerlakes of NY.
I need some help w/ site selection & preferences since I've only been to one Bash.
Give me some input on preferences;
- lodging w/ on-site or walking distance restaurant
- lodging on modest end of price scale
- proximity to camping availability
- location central to good roads
- location not too close to local constabulary or their hiding / trapping spots
- no-rain and 50 degree F minimum, guaranteed

Anything I'm missing?

Dull-Aware isn't that far. Keep me posted; I'll come.

I personally would like to see the date changed. It is ALWAYS tough for me to get two days off at the end of the week...especially at that particular time of year. The school year is almost over... I've used up all my personal days usually...Just two weeks later and I'm free for almost 2 months!

Okay. Whine over.

Date has to be changed to '09 anyway; a few weeks here or there won't make much difference; just that mom & pop & kiddies are out & about by then too.

No hurry; but MLW & I both had more fun at the one we went to than either of us thought we would.
