IowaBeakster,

Don't let the rain stop you. Scattered August showers make riding across Illinois and Indiana much more comfortable! I'm looking forward to meeting you next week.

Bumping this 'cause it is getting close! I might be heading over Thursday. Looking forward to seeing old friends, making new ones and riding some great roads!

Thad - we all know your aversion to camping. So is staying in the Econo Lodge as opposed to the Hampton Inn your idea of camping?

(Guessing no Hampton near Marion)

Glad you're coming!

Is anyone at the moment planning to go Thursday so they can claim the lone site they won't let us reserve? I am debating whether to leave Thurday afternoon late or Friday morning early.

If my new bike arrives before Thursday, I'll ride it up Friday with Marvin. If not, I'm coming up in my truck with the grill and the big screen TV and will arrive Thursday sometime. (The TV is a joke, but I will bring the little Webber grill if anyone wants to bring along a piece of meat for Friday night grilling.) I'll grab some hot dogs and buns.

Yep! Ordered a new 2010 F650GS Twin. It should be here any day now. White Aluminum Matte Metallic without ABS, but with the on-board computer, centerstand, heated grips, white signal covers. As soon as it gets here I'll be doing the elctrical mods to add accessories, then proceed to add my farkles setting in my "farting room" floor.

Just got back from Hungry Mother. Had a great time, great rides and wonderful company. The mystery guest was very charming!

Looking forward to next year!
