Here is what you have been waiting for: http://www.beaksterbash.info

The weekend after Mother's Day May 14-17.

Motel/Restaurant/Bar:
QUALITY INN-NEW RIVER GORGE. P.O. BOX 929 US ROUTE 19 & LAUREL CREEK, FAYETTEVILLE, WV 25840 USA http://www.qualityinnnewrivergorge.com/
Phone: 3045743443 Fax: 3045744066
Blocked 15 rooms at $65 per night plus 12% local taxes. Singles and doubles//smoking and non. Get 'em before April 14. 2009. More rooms are available if needed. Mention R1150R.NET when you call to book a room.

Lots of great riding locally, the New River Bridge/Gorge. Two Restuarants, one bar, a gas station, and a liquor store within 100 yards. Cell service for most(my Nextel always sucks).

All kinds of stuff is available thanks to MikeCam at http://www.cafepress.com/BeaksterBash

Alternative Lodging: I have never stayed here, so I have no first hand knowledge of it.

RifRafters Campground, Laurel Creek Road, Fayetteville, WV http://www.rifrafters.com/
Tent camping rate: $11 per person per night. Thirty tent camping sites in the main campground and an unlimited number of primitive sites are located in shaded, semi-shaded, and open areas throughout the property. Developed tent camping areas include fire rings, adjacent parking, and proximity to our bath house. Primitive tent camping areas on 40 acres of remote woodland may be packed into.
Cabins. $15 per person per night, min. $30 per night.
RV Camping Rate: $33 per two people per night. Each of our eleven RV campsites includes a water hook-up, a 30-amp power hook-up, and a 75-channel cable-television hook-up. Six sites contain 10-x-30-foot concrete pads and 10-x-10 patio areas with fire rings. Five pads are gravel rather than concrete.

I am booking as I type. The girl said they are getting a lot of calls from our group. Getting a double just in case I can find a local to join me. How about we order the shirts as a group as the shipping for the cheapy T is $7. I would be happy to handle it. First trip of the season and I am Jonesing so BAD! =P~
PS. Thanks Jeff! And Mike also. Sorta.

Don't thank Mike, he hates this gig.

Steve, good idea on the group purchase and saved shipping. I will not do it, but feel free to organize a group.

We could try to have the merchandise shipped right to the bash. That would save me lot of room. ;)

Nice work, Jeff. Looks like a beautiful place to ride.

No commitment from me though. I just don't know how to find the "subscribe to this thread" button, so I'm posting so I'll get the updates just for fun.

I once shared a cabin with MikeCam and machew. It was the last night my red R spent as an operational motorcycle. But maybe it was whaycock's fault. So be careful.

It is not that you DON'T get to attend. It is that you are choosing not to attend. [-X

So throw John Denver into your iPod, and head northeast.

I always think that it is better to hear him sing country roads in my helmet than to hear me sing it.
