Well, there's going to be one fewer SO... My wife has decided she will not go. I'll still be there, but I'll probably back road it and take a couple days to get there, so arriving Thursday instead of Wednesday. Unless of course, she changes her mind..

Just a heads up for anyone coming into West Virginia through the Southwest Border from Kentucky. Specifically Mingo and Logan County West Virginia.

I doubt if it will affect BBVI.

Getting close people! New front tire goes on tomorrow and time to start packing the bike and getting ready! Riding in WV is always entertaining. Hopefully the flooding had not taken out any good roads!

The cheap bastid in me says, "Wahooo!!!! Half priced room!!! ..." the rest of me says... unless you're a reasonably good looking female with a firm set of C's or larger, you're not getting in... Sorry. Actually B's are fine too... A's are only OK if the rest of you makes up for it... Lack in one area has to be made up in another... but I digress...

Should be leaving Thu AM & arriving Fri afternoon/evening.

Oil & filter changed, new Z6's front and rear. Bike is already packed, work 1/2 day tomorrow then meet up with John S and hope to be heading Southwest by 2PM. Arriving Thursday afternoon/evening. See you all this weekend.

Forecast looks better than last years weather, at least what we had Friday!

Three day forecasts never get it right.

Scattered T-Storms are no challenge (30%).

Isolated T-Storms even less so (10%).

I know the mid-west guys have it worse and I cannot judge the decision to adjust directions. All others, "Piece of cake!"

By the way, Thursday and Friday look for fellow Bashers along US 60. You never know who you are going to find on a snow covered mountain.
