Boxer,
Don't push it.
The displayed length changes depending on the software presenting the display.

Made my reservation at the motel several weeks ago. Figured I would need to remain ingognito if I rode the SV... :)

SWEET!!!!!!

Did you trade/sell the R-R, or keep it? I'm sure YLW will love riding on the back of the comfy, roomy GS.

Expect the unexpected if you venture down on US 129:

As for me, I plan to checkout the "Witch's Knuckle" just above the TN/KY Border and the "Devil's Triangle" just above Harriman. There also appears to be some great riding on the west side of Interstate 75.

Doc,
That's a good video.. to watch. The problem with riding like that is no matter how good a rider one may be, there is a good chance of a lesser rider, or car or truck coming the other way riding over the center line... especially on 129.

I agree with you, and think that's the point of having the Bash in Harriman... an opportunity to ride an area with good motorcycle roads that are not as heavily traveled.

Thanks for the links, Doc.

For six months of the year I live about an hour and a half ride from Deal's Gap... and have ridden it enough times to know I don't need to ride it anymore. Except that one of the guys I ride with lives nearby, and 129 is the the shortest way to get from his house into TN.

Seriously though, so you gonna be bunking with your cus?

By the way, I had to go look up what a "Night Train" was...
I found this:

Night Train Express
17.5% alc. by vol.
Don't let the 0.5% less alcohol by volume fool you, the Night Train is all business when it pulls into the station. All aboard to nowhere - woo wooo! The night train runs only one route: sober to stupid with no roundtrip tickets available, and a strong liklihood of a train wreck along the way. This trainyard favorite is vinted and bottled by E&J Gallo Winery, in in Modesto, CA. Don't bother looking on their web page, because they dare not mention it there. As a clever disguise, the label says that it is made by "Night Train Limited." Some suspect that Night Train is really just Thunderbird with some Kool-Aid-like substance added to try to mask the Clorox flavor. Some of our researchers indicated that it gave them a NyQuil-like drowsiness, and perhaps this is why they put "night" in the name. The picture * shows that the subject that drank Night Train is down for the count, while the Cisco guzzling subject is ready to rock. Guaranteed to tickle your innards. (photos excluded)

I did not make that up... that's their advertisement for the wine...

I'm anxious to see if "OU812's Visiting Cousin David" is going to be longer than the "Very Extra Special Mystery Rider".....

...and that Hemlock fellow above the Lizard is still bugging me.

Like I stated in a previous in a post, You declined and I invited Dadoo. Now that he is "in" I told him I would take care of the room. I owe him big for all the help and accommodations he has done for my deer season. ;)
PS: I will always sit next to you. You put up with me (so it seems).
