I'm in and looking forward to seeing everyone.
I'll likely arrive mid-to-late afternoon on Friday.

Time to stir the pot again. All you procrastinators and on-the-fence folks, get it in gear! This is a great venue for riding. You will be hard pressed to find any road in the mountains above Mt. Airy that is not entertaining to ride!

And I would like to get the opinion of those who are attending on Saturday night dinner. The Ducati group that uses this motel has a local Italian restaurant cater a meal for a flat cost per head, using the motel's breakfast area for a buffet and the meeting room to eat in. The motel folks have offered us the same deal. There are a couple of chain type restaurants in the area but this offers us a chance to all seat down together in a semi-private environment for a meal and prize drawings too!

Let me know on here or by PM what you think. I can make the arrangements.

Eating at the motel works for me.

Marty - just noticed your sig line. I love it. My wife would agree!

Keep the comments coming on dinner and I will contact the restaurant if that is the consensus.

Yeah, I like the catered meal idea also. Might cost a little more, but this is a nice way to stay all together for the meal and festivities.

Reservation made. At least two of us, myself and Brian Collins. Two more are sitting on the fence. I'm all for the catered dinner on Saturday night. I just received a set of the America Rides Maps that covers bike rides in the areas along the Blue Ridge. Lots of choices highlighted in the area! With the Ducs Along The Blue Ridge group coming here for 18 years, this might be a good annual spot for us or have on a rotation every couple of years. Looking forward to this.

I defer to your choice o wise Bashmaster. Run it like the benevolent dictator that you are.

Btw, I am booked. Splitting room with R4R&R.

Well, I haven't seen much interest in a Bash Tee shirt yet. Just one pre-order so far.

I have come up with a basic design and tee shirt color, however, the tee shirt color could be anything at this point. Haven't ordered them yet. With only one pre-order I won't be making too many on spec, but the image is the color I tentatively have picked. My monitor shows it more blue than it is, but the name of the color is Stonewash Blue...kind of a dull light blue. The other color I'm thinking of is a similar dull light GREEN color instead of blue. But the blue represents the Carolina blue better IMO. The imagery text will be in white, but I am kind of thinking about adding some other imagery from an old tee shirt of the RR gauges in the middle and then make that part white with a darker blue text shown here on top of the white.

My original deadline for pre orders was Mar 31st, but I have a few more days if you want to pre order one. I need your size and how many....pay at the Bash. $15 each ($3 each goes to Doug at the Board). Largest size is XL. They are 100% cotton preshrunk. Hanes tagless 6.1 oz. shirts. Good quality.

Let me know your thoughts.

Boxer, you're too ambitious. How about a shirt pocket size graphic high on the left side of the chest?
But don't pay any attention to me. No one likes my tastes, which I'll demonstrate in Mt. Airy.

Chew, guilty as charged. But also very symmetrical minded. A left sided pocket sized graphic would upset my balance so much I may never get over it.

The graphic as shown will be a little smaller, compared to the shirt, from what that image shows. This is just to kinda give you an idea of what it MAY look like.

Seriously thinking about this... My wife finally used the butt paste I won during one of the early Bashes on one of our babies. She laughed when I told her where I had gotten it.

That was Bartow, WV in 2005.
But was it the second Bash, or number 3? Somebody make a list. One was at "Deals Gap". Just can't place the sequence thereafter.
