BBXII will be my 9th consecutive Bash.
Doc - we should thank CycleRob also. You have been a good addition to the assorted characters that attend these gatherings.

Also, a throttle body repair a few years ago kept me from maintaining my perfect attendance streak! But barring personal disaster, I will be there again this year!

I think I have been to all of the Bashes, except the one in NJ. I am in the process of booking a room, unless someone wants to split one. I kinda forgot to do this earlier. I think that I have been around since 2003, but I have to look up the date.

March 19, 2005 for the new board, but sometime in 2003 on the old board.

Ok folks......just over 2 1/2 months till the Bash! The motel that is our home for the weekend reported to me that they currently have 16 rooms reserved for the event. They originally blocked 20 rooms for us. So we're approaching that number. Can probably get more but not for much longer. We're competing with local college graduations for that weekend. So I strongly urge any that are either planning to attend or think that they might attend to go ahead and make your motel reservation or SERIOUSLY YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FIND A ROOM AT ANY PRICE!!
Most of the motels I contacted about that weekend quoted me exorbitant room rates......some approaching $275 per night. All because of the graduations. So seriously if you think you're just going to pop in at the last minute you better be prepared by packing a tent!!

Same here....the driveway looks like a bobsled run. I'm tired of doing controlled slides just to get out and get to work. This week holds some promise with higher temperatures and some rain in the forecast providing it doesn't freeze overnight. Patty & I will be going down on Wednesday, 5/13. One bike/one car.

Booked at AARP rate. It would not take Bash code. Comperable rate. $78.96. Looking forward to my 2nd Bash! :D

I suspect the Bash code (if we have one) is something you have to mention on the phone if you call the motel. I also think there is a certain amount of the left hand not talking to the right!

I'm glad we're getting a good turn out. Some of the best roads you'll find are right here in this part of the state. We've got some good stuff planned and should be a great time!

Thad, can you bring your GS-911 gadget? I'm not sure if Cyclerob is coming or if he is bringing his, but both of you have my bike's VIN on your GS-911 and I need to update the little warning notification I am getting on my bike's computer. If you can't or just don't want to, its okay. Bike still runs fine without it. Just annoying to have that date pop up every time I turn it on.

Just made reservations. I let this completely slip my mind and got an email referring to the bash and luckily squeezed in to a room. 1 more remaining after mine if anyone is curious. I'll plan to arrive on Thursday late afternoon to early evening. Look forward to seeing some of you again and meeting new folks.

And Phil, I'd be interested in a t-shirt or two.

Here is the image for the Bash Tee Shirt. I'll be making a few just in case someone wants one when we get there. I can always make more and send them after the Bash if you want to see them first. A couple of you have expressed interest, so send me your size and long or short sleeve, and I'll make yours the right size etc. Otherwise I'll just make a few XL and L to bring along.

The shirt color will be some earth color. Brownish, greenish, whatever. With the map in a light shade and the text either black or dark brown. The design will be on the front. Nothing on back. Reg. short sleeve shirts will be $10. XXL and bigger will be $2 more. Long sleeve will be $15. I can put the design on the back if I get some feedback preferring that. Normally, if there is nothing on the front, then main design is on the front. Otherwise the main design would be on the back with SOMETHING on the front, either a pocket image or separate large image. I'm thinking I might do a small something in the front pocket area and the big one on the back, but not sure yet on that.

Somebody talk to me.

Wayne, I will be there this year! I think it's been a long time overdue since I've been at a Bash, I'm thinking ten years! I plan on driving my RV and tow the R behind the RV. I will need to find a campground nearby to park my RV at. I will have an extra bed available so if anyone needs a comfy place to stay I'm offering a place with me in my RV. I wouldn't mind the company either! Anyone interested should contact me at [email protected]
