Thanks boxer for those pictures, great!

I forgot just how great the roads and people are in WV. Used to have kin in the area but have not been there for a long time. Only in the Alps can you find such curvy roads in good nick.

I was there with my first C/O in the Navy flying fighters in VN. I take a ride w/him every year, sorta a bucket list thing. I was the youngest guy in the squadron and he was the oldest.

He will be 86 next month and has 4 BMWs and a struggle but he keeps on riding...

Hope we can do another in WV next year.

Such a great place to ride single tract...

6296 miles in 14 days. 1/2 qt of oil,150 gal gas!

Cheers

The great thing about this gathering, is the friendships that have endured, some for many of the 16 years it has taken place. Many of us have moved on to other bikes and other brands but still we get together and enjoy riding, eating and telling tales. I attended the first one in 2004 on a black, 2002 R1150R and rode it to most Bashes, including the 2016 one. 2017 was the first one without that bike for me. Missed a few due to an injury, either to myself or the bike but it is always on my calendar!

I did not take many pictures but here is a link to what I did take. Looking forward to next year!

I somehow missed these too! Thanks for sharing pics Boxer and WNC!

Posts like this and getting people together to share a common interest is THE reason I started this site. I'm really chuffed to see the traditions continue.
