I like my Rockster, but I have never been keen on the paint schemes (bronze, green or Edition 80) so I'm now thinking of painting it. Had a search but not having much luck finding any inspiration.
Does anyone have any pictures of non standard Rockster paint schemes, just don't show me a matt black one with the stripes removed

Well, I don't have any rock pics, but how about this scheme on a Rock...
Use your imagination and get someone with good Photoshop skills to chop it for you... If I was going to paint it, I would paint my valve covers the same color...

Haven't been able to see it anywhere on the web but on one of my trips I came across a Rockster painted in a negative Edition 80 color scheme, i.e. replace white parts with black and black stripes with white ones. Although it is usually the other way around, I had to stop and stare for a while. Hated myself but it was an impressive ride...

Re: Thinking about painting my Rockster
Looking to get away from the strpes I think. I did see a Rockster done in Motorsport colours on ebay a year or so back, but never kept the photo's, looked quite nice, but not sure I want another white bike. My Megamoto is white and a mate has just had his 800GS done in white, so looking for something different.
I'm thinking maybe traditional type BMW colour scheme or something similar. This isn't what I'm after but this R1200R on the Wunderlich stand at this year's Cologne bike show looked really impressive in the flesh, and really lifted an otherwise fairly plain looking bike.
