Backrest by RCU

Post by Mclintoc »

I found this backrest on the web: http://www.ascycles.com/detail.aspx?ID=43424
Does anyone have this one?
If so, is comfortable?
Is it quality?
Is it detachable (without too much trouble)?

Does anyone have any other backrests to recommend?

many thanks in advance.

P.S.
I would be fitting this to an 04 Rockster.

On my `03 Roadster I have the system case mounts and the rear rack. I bought the Pirate's backrest which mounts to a plate under the rear rack. It works well and is easy to remove when not needed. I recently added a 20L Marsee rack bag which installs behind the backrest. I think A&S sells it for the 650 but doesn't list it for the RR. The Pirate's backrest is also sold by Sargent Seats.

I don't get caught in the rain, I ride in it on purpose.
