I have something called ths Service and Technical Booklet, but I'm guessing my R1150R was sold with some kind of owners manual. Anybody know where I can get one. Or better yet, is there one available for download somewhere?

Yes, there is , or at least there was, one available for download.

Couple years ago after I bought my 04, I wanted a complete service manual.
I always do that for every vehicle I buy, I do nearly all my own work and
can't do much without those. Usually find oem manuals on ebay.

Anway, found a very well done service & repair manual put togehter by a bunch
of individuals for sale on CD on ebay, very reasonalbe price.

I think I've seen the owner's and rider's manuals on there, too, time to time.

As far as downloading and sharing copyrighted material - I'd be VERY careful!
Dangerous to do any more. There are outfits scanning internet traffic for
illegally reproduced and shared copyrighted stuff.

You aren't missing much. I didn't find the owner's manual particuarly helpful. Written by lawyers.

LOL Snowprick, your pretty safe there in the PI. I don't recall copyright laws being on the top of their list of laws to enforce while I was there.
