I just picked up a 2004 R1150RT... Love this bike... great engine, great handling... BUT, the sitting upright seating position KILLS my back. I have an old car crash injury, a compression fracture of a vertebrae, and sitting straight up causes it to swell up, and that is NO fun. I can only ride the Rt for about an hour. Is there anyway that I can change the handlebars to drop and go forward about two inches in each way? Ive seen risers, but I need to go the other way. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!

I think I have seen your ? elsewhere. I use a backrest and it really works for me. Good luck!

Re: 2004 R1150RT handlebar question
Well, I figured it out... I swapped the RT for a real nice R1100RS... NOW its just right!
Re: 2004 R1150RT handlebar question

How to repair a Diesel BMW fuel Gauge? It does not work along with the temperature Gauge and the indicators? Tired of running out of diesel because the fuel gauge does not work? Temperature gauge does not work either. The indicators work on the outside but do not show they are working inside of the car by any light or indicating noise.
