air in clutch line

hello fellow other beeamers..learned a good lesson today lost the clutch slave during a 1100mile rally came home on a trailer,replaced slave(ty beeamerboneyard) bled system with help and went for a ride clutch slipped from 3rd gear on. removed starter and checked no contamination..cleaned with clutch engaged and bike in gear using brake cleaner retested still slipping..took a break rebled system solo this time using a clamp on the clutch handle,ran fluid through the res 5 times reassembled and went for a testride woohoo no slippage ..a little time to bleed it again saved me $1500..thanks for all the good advice ...on the road again
