I picked up some new grips for the Rockster the other day and started cutting off the old ones. A procedure I've done before. Delicate, but doable. This is the first time I've put new grips on this Rockster, though. The throttle side came off no problem. The heater wire is intact and perfect. The left side, however... I don't know if the grip got too hot or what but it's melted itself to the plastic. GAH! I'm shaving it off little by little so as not to destroy the heater wire. I've never seen this happen before.
What a mess...
