brake pad

Post by lguardiola »

hey guys,

I think its coming to that time when I'll be needing to switch out the brake pad on my R....I've been looking at Beemerboneyard.com and it seems to be pretty pricy, but i am a new rider and I've never bought brake pad for a motorcycle before...I think that the front brakes cost $60 and the rear are $30...Is this a good price? Is this a common price pade for brake pads?

It seems to cost the same as the brake pad for my truck...would brake pad from a regular store like Cycle Gear work just fine?

I just want to get your opinion on this that way I can make the wisest choice. If any of you have a different option for buying brake pads, please let me know.

Thank you.

I just got the pads recommended on Beemer Boneyard and replaced them. They work great. I did not check to see if the price is reasonable. I usually trust BBY.

Read this thread, it's the one above yours right now.

Amazon had the best prices last month.

Agreed, best place to get them is BBY, best price---Amazon (last month)

Either way, I think the EBC pads are great
