Sumer Is Icumen In (Summer Has Arrived)

Post by gregor »

Or maybe not here in England yet. Been out for a few shortish rides and lucky to see more than 10°C. Bike got through the annual MOT test - after I'd to remind the operative about the partially linked brakes and the need to run the engine when testing on the rolling road.
The rear brake does not produce as much retardation when using the front lever as when using just the foot pedal. I'd expected that -but how would he know that was as it should be?

Today went out early to miss the rain (now arrived) and brr with damp roads and the odd splash of DERV on the bends. Still enjoyed the Peak District countryside but the central heating is now on at home.
