Fixed. New PR3. See if it wards off nails better than the Z8! Only about 2 hours late leaving. On the way in a few!

Ended up hitting some rain on the way home and just hammered down to the house. It was a great weekend, even if wet at times. Good to see old friends and meet some new ones.

Hopefully we can get some more rides together this fall!

I headed up 16 north early, and took 460 to Bluefield and then blasted up the WV Turnpike in the rain. Got home at 1:30, and had to bag the grass because it was so long.

It was great to see everyone, and get to do some fun riding. This year was a back to reality year after the glorious weather last year.

I made it home quickly and without any rain. I don't know how THAT happened. It was a really good weekend in spite of the rain.

It was rain free until I was about a mile from the house. Then it poured. I was soaked..... Nevertheless, I had a great time. I hope to see everyone again next year.

Guys: Had a nice time. Too bad about the rain on Saturday, but this is the element that we have to endure at times. Wayne and I made it home around 3:00 pm or there abouts. Traffic on 81N was tied up due to a traffic accident so we got off 81 and onto RT 11. By the way, I'd like to know the location of that tunnel we went thru on the Saturday ride. Pretty cool.

Bob and I made it home around 4pm. We had rain till about Roanoke and then it cleared. There was an accident on northbound I81 about the 167 mile marker, traffic was backed up 11 miles. We hit the shoulder and rode about a mile to get off an exit. I think a lot of folks were wishing they were on bikes! Rt 11 had a bit of a backup as well but it cleared fairly quickly. Somehow Bob had a slight confrontation with a fella in a Ford Expedition. The fella ended up passing him in a double yellow line (where's the LEO when you need him?) Some hand gestures were exchanged I believe and I pulled up next to the fella at the 340 split and gave him my very best withering gaze. He shrank in fear and turned off.

I had a good time, got a little wet yesterday but I needed the bath anyway! The movie last nite was........well, lets just say it was different.

Looking forward to next year!

Our group didn't leave the Appletree and gas station complex until about 10:30. We all rode together down through Shady Valley and onward to I-26. Roy and I took the slab from there and the others went on down through Hot Springs. I made it home right at 7 and the other group was a couple of hours later getting in. Roy and I got nailed by rain just west of Asheville, but then dried out again with warm sunshine from then on.
I got home and crashed for the night. In a few days I'll have my pictures posted somewhere. Really enjoyed it but the shortage of sleep is taking its toll on my normal Monday morning activities, so I guess I'll jut go back to bed.

Oh, and that movie got rave reviews from all 3 mental hospitals where it was tested. It will be a cult classic in years to come. Just watch!

Chew I don't think you have to wait. It's on netflix. They'd love to rent it out. You'd be the 2nd renter. After me of course.

3rd. The one we watched was rented from Netflix. Roy brought it with him. They told him he could keep it another week if he wanted, that only one other guy from Staunten, VA had ever rented it.
