Seriously thinking about this... My wife finally used the butt paste I won during one of the early Bashes on one of our babies. She laughed when I told her where I had gotten it.
Yong - is that you? Long, long time no see! You should seriously show up to this thing!

Hey Vann - yes indeed, it is me. Bought a RT last week. Getting back into the boxer fold. The new bike is a blast - seriously faster than my old R  I'm trying to work this trip out in my schedule.

Thanks Mac. Just finished making reservations and cleared the weekend with my wife. See y'all there! P.s. - put me down for the Saturday evening Italian food.

With no negative responses to eating Italian at the motel, I will be making the arrangements. As soon as I know what it costs, I'll let you know!

I think this will work great and give us all a chance to eat together and not sweat inconsistent service at a restaurant! We can do the door prize giveaways at the same time!

Speaking of door prizes, be thinking of what you can contribute. I plan a trip to the local BMW dealer again to see if I can get them to help us out.

But was it the second Bash, or number 3? Somebody make a list. One was at "Deals Gap". Just can't place the sequence thereafter.

Thanks Doc.
Sorry guys who requested a shirt. I must report that I did not receive enough requests for shirts to justify the time, labor and material expense to make the screens and order the tee blanks with shipping, etc. Including myself, there was only four who wanted a shirt. I've canned that idea due to lack of interest.

However, I have another idea for a shirt, which I will present at the dinner/meeting on Saturday night.

I haven't been as active in the forums lately (or on bike trips...) but I am planning on coming to the bash this year. Jeff pinged me about sharing a room, so I've basically committed to going. It's a good thing too. I haven't been to a bash in a few years, and am looking forward to this trip to start off the riding season. Like I mentioned, I'll be sharing a room with Jeff unless he's changed his mind; plus I'll be bringing a couple of other riders with me. I've worked with one of them, and ridden with the other on occasion but they are not on BMWs (yet?). We rode to Ohio together a few years ago and they loved it; they want to get into more trips this year and include camping. I'll probably leave for the bash on Thursday and camp somewhere on the way, and show up sometime Friday. I'm looking forward to seeing familiar faces, and meeting some new ones!

Anyone have any idea of what's happening Friday the 16th? I'm planning to depart from my house in Northern VA fairly early to ride down the BRP to Mt. Airy late Friday afternoon. Not sure I'll be able to arrive significantly ahead of dinnertime to get in riding with anyone, so my plan is to get together with y'all for dinner and hang out Friday evening.

Patty & I will be on the heading south on Wednesday(503miles) to try and get in three days(Thur,Fri,Sat) of riding in the area and depart on Sunday; giving us a leisurely two days to return to the nest. Too far out to check the weather, but that's our plan.

Looking forward to seeing you all and meeting some new faces.

I'm slow and just remembered the Bash! I will plan to ride there as well most likelier Friday morning. I'd. Like to share a room with whomever will put up with me! My buddy Bob Weber may come as well. But at the very least it will be me. If someone is in need of a roommate please let me know. And I'll be on two wheels too!

Here's to hoping you ALL have beautiful weather and the safest of travels. I'll be in sunny Albuquerque while you're carving the roads up. I miss seeing each of you and hope to correct my ways and attend the 2015 bash regardless of where it should be.

Well - this thing is growing! I will try to do a total count of attendees tonight or tomorrow. Still haven't finished the arrangements for the Saturday night dinner but still plan on a catered dinner served at the motel and us eating together in their meeting room. More when I found out the details.

Looking forward to this year's Bash!

This will be my 8th Bash in as many years and I usually get enthused by running this slideshow of my first one courtesy of Boxer.

Thank you Phil and thanks to CycleRob for inviting me to BBIV back in '07.

See you all the week after next.

Ride safe,

I will try to list all of the Previous Bashes:

2004 - Topoco Lodge, Deal's Gap, NC - Al was the Bashmaster
2005 - Bartow, WV. I think the place was called the Hermitage, but it is no longer open. - Bill Haycock and Mike Cam
2006 - Marrietta, OH. Lafayette Hotel. Me
2007 - Marlinton, WV. Mike Cam
2008 - Central, PA. Doc and maybe Scotty?
2009 - Quality Inn. Fayetteville, WV(New River Gorge) me and Cam and Chew
2010 - Maryville, TN. Thad
2011 - New Jersey? - I can't remember details. This is the only one that I have missed. Marty and Doc
2012 - Lewisburg, WV. Brian I think
2013 - Marietta, OH. Lafayette Hotel. Me
2014 - Mt. Airy, NC. Vann

If anything is wrong, let me know and I will correct it. And if I get a little time I can expand on each one and throw up pics.

Two father/son teams and 3 couples! Good mix also! This should be fun! :D

Vann, JB is supposed to be coming too. He said he will share my room at the motel. He just hasn't weighed in here on this forum yet that I see, but he is SUPPOSED to be there. Ha ha
