New owner checking in

Post by stu22 »

Just thought I'd best say Hi - Recently picked up an '03 Rockster in the nice ginger and black colour scheme.

All great apart from the myopic old lady who decided to drive in to whilst riding it home, trapping my leg against the right hand cylinder! Fortunately only damage was to the engine protector.

Initial impressions are its a nice bike, engine a bit vibey compared to what I'm used to but suppose it's 'character'!

Finally a big thanks to Riceburner who offered me plenty of advice over on TRC

Welcome, brother!

Good looking bike! That's a hell of a windshield you've got there!

It looks like the PO dropped the Cat on the bike, most of the y-pipes are not rubber mounted hence the vibration.

How many mile do you have on the bike?

Thanks

The windshield is pretty serious, undecided yet as to whether it will stay or not but can confirm it works very well!

I thought that the cat was still fitted but haven't physically checked to be honest! It's very quiet so would assume it is....
The bike has just turned 30000 miles....

No need to buy an RT when I can hide behind a screen of that size!
