Just booked for Thu/Fri/Sat nights. Leaving after work on Wednesday, planning on spending the night in Altoona (highway for last 1-2 hours of that trip can be highway; my preference after it gets dark LOL).

I will be arriving Thursday maybe noonish and leaving Sunday after breakfast, still debating on whether to ride or trailer with all the rain predicted.

Patty & I will trailer for obvious reasons as she does not ride 2-up.

Use you own discretion.

Looks like I am reluctantly backing out of this. With the flooding we are having here and along our projected back road route to the Bash, the road conditions will be horrible for the ride up tomorrow. I don't mind riding in the rain, Lord knows, we have done that at other Bashes, but with my limited schedule, I don't see the point if the ride there is not fun.

To be truthful, the main draw for me is seeing the folks I haven't seen for a while. With my soon-to-be unemployed status, there is no reason we can't arrange a meet up later in the summer somewhere in this area to see everyone.

Sorry to miss this but I was feeling a little pressed anyway trying to get back for Vince's wedding Sunday. Which may also be in the rain!

I'm out as well. I hate to miss it, but the ugly weather is too much for me. Doc, let's try to do this on a better weekend, maybe in late July. As I said, I hate to miss it!

Gents - at this point I'm looking to come by 4 wheels for dinner Friday night to hang out, but with stormy weather predicted thru late Friday, I'm not sure there's much riding we're going to get to do.

I’m still in; only a couple of hours north of Cumberland tonight, picking up a new tire at the BMW dealer in Tyrone PA when they open at 0900, should be in Cumberland / Lavale by late morning or lunchtime. Ride so far has been uneventful other than some low flying vultures I had to play the air horn to LOL. Planning a Two Handed imbibing event should the rain prevail through the weekend; no reason not to have fun doing that :)

I'm still trying to figure this out. May be stuck with working Friday early AM, and possibly Saturday. We are a little understaffed. Want to see everyone.

I hate to hear this. I wasn't going to go but Vann I'm headed to your neck of the woods on Sunday for 5 days of riding. I hope all this clears up by then!

Guys,
I’m delayed a day. I will be there tomorrow morning and still leaving Sunday. I intend to ride once I’m there no matter the weather. Thats why I bought waterproof gear.

We arrived without incident yesterday and were settled in by 8:30 pm.

We are at the far end of the complex. Parked in the lot by Door D with an easy entrance via door C. Room 110.

Cell # (908) 507 5473.

Happy trails.

I'm stuck here. Dealing with a moronic situation with a customer at work, and the last time I rode thought WV with the predicted amount of rain I almost bit it on I-77 at 77 mph when I hydroplaned across a small stream...

Enjoy.

Daryl, Steve K, and I got out at the end of the day for a couple of hours. Mexican for dinner @ Rio Grande, and a nightcap @ Henny's next door.

Rain or shine, we are going out tomorrow and Saturday.

Sorry to hear from those who can't make it.

Carry on!

Some of you may already know, but I finally purchased a new bike and just got through the break-in service and going to do a camping "test run" this weekend. I'm aiming for Deep Creek state park in Maryland, not too far from the bash. If timing works out, I may try and meet up with you guys around dinnertime. What are your plans for dinner Saturday night?

We are taking it day by day. Tonight we are in town at Fratelli's. Saturday night is most likely on site @ Henny's.

We did a run down to Thomas, WV and had lunch at the Purple Fiddle today. Wet, but enjoyable nevertheless.

Congrats on the new ride!
