Finally got around to making my reservation! After getting washed out last year, I’m looking forward to meeting up with everyone this year. I’m going to try to dig up some pictures from Bash 1 to share. Long time ago! I had hair!

I've not yet made a reservation as there is a slight chance of having to work Saturday but pretty certain I can switch days with a co-worker. So I hope to have that worked out in a day or two. Worst comes to worst I'll be there to ride Friday and will be at the dinner Sat eve, Franklin is little more than an hour from me.

I went a year or two after that one, at Staunton.

Long range weather looks great! 70’s and sunny. We will be getting there a day later on Friday instead of Thursday. Looking forward to this. Mike, did you do anything about T-shirts?

I will certainly be there hopefully fairly early Friday. Was planning on riding over on Thursday but looks like I'll be facing/meeting an
oral surgeon tomorrow morning. Not sure that two wheels will be in my future tomorrow. But certainly Friday!

Jeff and I are planning to meet in Elkins for lunch Friday afternoon, then take some long indirect route to Franklin. We'll be there sometime Friday afternoon/evening. And I do have a door prize for the offering!

Gents - I'm sorry to say I'm too tired to make this year's bash. I just returned from an intense conference in San Diego. After India, Africa, Orlando, London/Paris, and San Diego in 3.5 months, I need to recuperate as well as spend some quality time with my family. I'm hoping to make next year's rally on my newly acquired 1977 R100/7.

I had a great time seeing everyone again and riding those "perfect" roads. My ability to ride 900 miles to a Bash has sadly gone away, but I have plans in the works to use alternate methods to transport me and my bike those distances in the future. I rode the 950 miles home in 2 days and it just about killed me. I have put most of the good pics I took into a gallery at Slablog and I hope this link works. You have to go to the end and work backwards if you want to see them chronologically.
