Spring has arrived in the UK

Post by Mike UK »

At last the sun is out and the roads are dry.

My bike flew of the driveway and out onto the open road. My poor wife nearly fell off the back! It's certainly been worth the wait. We decided to take the twisty backroads and explore Southern England free of traffic. The countryside is waking up and there is a haze of new growth and roadside flowers everywhere.

No trip is complete without stopping for "refreshments" at a decent country pub. We sat out in the garden of the White Horse in Chilgrove West Sussex listening to the birds singing, the howl of motorbikes speeding past and the local farmers shooting everything that moved in the woods accross the road!

It was good to be dining al fresco with the sun beating down

That bike looks great. I like the black engine with the silver heads.

Looks like a beatiful sunny day in England. There is not much prettier than all that greenery with that blue sky.

BTW, its summer here in Los Angeles, will hit in the low 80's today & I fired up the pool heater so the kids can swim. Should be a great day.
