I figure if somebody'll pay me forty-nine grand for my olde '95, I could afford to buy a new BMW 'ST', one-a-them fancy 'K' bikes, and the new parallel twin 800cc.....

I guess you missed the "x-clean" comment as well as the new tires.
Perhaps the price has an extra 9 inserted? Just a guess.

Well...... got me Bonneville 'Black' now. Though X tra clean with a mere 800 miles, I only had to pay five thousand dollars for this one!
