Denso iridium spark plugs

Post by Milanator »

Denso makes an iridium plug for the BMW series, including the R1150R. K22TNR-S standard plug, and the IK22 iridium power plug, which claims to offer some improvement during acceleration due to increased combustion and lower required firing voltage. Wondering if anyone has had experience with Denso iridium plugs, with the small center electrode that is supposed to last longer than the conventional plugs and offer improved combustion?

I had an Autolite Iridium plug loose the iridium pellet from the end of the center electrode after 3000 miles. I don't know where it went, but the bike wouldn't fire a lick without it.
