Case cleaning

Post by R4R&R »

I just picked up a used (new to me) full sized left case today from my dealer. The base is faded/oxidized more than my current cases while the lid looks comparable to my existing cases. What can I use to bring the 'black' back to sun-faded plastics? I know about Armor-All and other similar protectants, but it seems like it's not a good 'permanent' fix. Is there any kind of wax or polish made for this application?

BTW, I just applied a few 'wipings' of Armor-All. It seems like they need to be soaked in the stuff.

Ahhhh....A little Google research directed me in the same direction. Going out today to buy some. I'll let you all know how well it works.
