Do you have any recourse against the county for failure to maintain the roads?
Estimate: 12" rise in 18" span, or perfect size to launch bike and rider at 40MPH.
That road is in USDA Willamette National Forest. Normal maintenance and markings do not apply, hence the rattle can paint markings by fellow road users... and not particularly conspicuous in afternoon speckled shade.

Those roads in Oregon and Washington sometimes will surprise you as to how bad they are without any warning. Very hard to pick up going in and out of the shaded areas.

GoPro was attached to Rockster instrument cover.
Yes, the bike landed on me... right side valve cover and handlebar were on asphalt surface, but I - always dedicated to preserving our beloved R1150R antiques - sacrificed myself to keep all other motorcycle parts road-rash-free.

I will keep the vid public for a week or so.

Peels, sorry if this is a topic hijack.
OMG dont worry about hijacking. wow.

that was painful to watch. EXTRA glad you are relatively alright

Rode 100 miles on Saturday, but not the Rockster. She's tough but needs a few replacement parts.
Getting x-rays tomorrow to see if I need replacement parts too.
