some Mid-Ohio pics

Post by Buckster »

I went to Mid-Ohio and had a great ride there and back. I saw some great scenery and rode some nice roads but I didn't take any pitures while on the road because of time constraints. I wanted to thank Jeff ( Biff's R) for some good advice on roads. Here are a few of the pics I took while I was there.
Vintage racing was very cool...loved seeing the old bikes they raced!

Dad hard at work at the swapmeet.
I had a good time and met some interesting people. I rode 1150 miles from VA to WV to OH to PA to MD and back to VA without a problem except for my left front turn signal lens broke and fell off somehow!

Nice pics. Theold race bikes are cool, but the old dirt bikes look painful to ride.

Sorry I did not get to make it up to the races. I ended up having to do some stuff for work on Saturday, and rode to the Ohio River on Sunday.

Which route did you take.

Small world. I'm pretty sure I know your dad, have meet at many BMW events around Florida. Is his first name Norm? Did he buy or was he selling that black R69S?
Great ride report! Did that trip a few years back from the DC area to Mid Ohio, loved West Virginia, and southeastern Ohio.
Say hi! to Norm from John in Tampa
