Air Bleeding from brake lines

Post by jolive »

Hi everybody in the forum. Greetings from Mexico.

I have a really simple question for anyone who has replaced the brake fluid in a 2007 R1200GS. What's the right procedure to do this? Is it true that is not enough to bleed the air from the lines but is it also necesary to reprogram something in the Motronic?

The question is because I replaced the front calipers in my R1200 GS, and bleed the air from the new calipers, but the brake handle still feels soft and goes to the bottom (is not firm when it's depressed)
Thanks in advance for your advises.
