Seafoam carbon cleaner

Post by bimmerguy »

There is lotsa buzz about using seafoam in the intake on BMW cars and it seems to work great to get cruddy carbon deposits.
has anyone done this to their R? And if so, where did you spray it in.

Have not heard of seabreaze - SeaFoam maybe?

Either that to Chevron techron seem to work well as a carbon reducer - you add the required amount to the fuel tank.....you can introduce it directly to the throttle body vacuum ports at your own pearl  - but if you do that you can also try the water torture (google search that so as not to upset the purists  )
