Want to chip RTP1100, which is best?

Post by bimmerguy »

I always rode sportbikes but loved the look of RT1100 bikes.
Now that I am older and stuff hurts after all day ride, I got Rt and nothing hurts after all day in the saddle and the movable windscreen is the bomb.
But I still want more hp, in the bottom end and louder pipes, mainly to let cage drivers hear me.
I have always used K&N and never had any problem.
I have already replaced ecm chip in my BMW car, so I know the bike can benefit some also.
All I can find is rhinewest, any others you have tried and recommend?

You can take any aftermarket chip you want. What these chips basically do is they raise the upper rpm barrier and they slightly enrich the fuel/air mix ...

As per my knowledge all aftermarket tuning chips originate from Germany. Hence you might want to do a search on *bay for "BMW tuning chip" and you'll get tons of offers ...
