I got vertigo from those pics!

Defnitely a new POW(M) though.

I'm officially envious . . . . [-( [-(

I went to university in Spain in the 70's. I'd kill to be able to ride through there again on an R12R. Such a wonderful place. When I was there I met a couple of guys from Ann Arbor, MI riding Norton 850 Comando's through Europe. To this day I can't stop thinking about the 1973 Norton's. lol Well done !!

cheers,

PS I'd love a copy of that 1st picture - with all the switchbacks . . . .

Fantastic photos.

How long did it take you from the Pyrenees to calais?

I'm toying with that very trip myself.

Cheers

Great pictures kindled a few memories of my own trip there a few years ago!

I can't help but be envious of your ferry from Bilbao. Ours - from UK to Bilbao - had to contend with a 10 meter swell and high winds  . On its return sailing a wave smashed the wheelhouse window and it had to run for port! Have you ever spent 36 hours on rough seas and then tried to ride a motorcycle? a truly weird experience!

There's also something quite special about the light quality there on a clear day and the fragrances from the wildflowers are heavenly as they seep into your helmet :D

Those were wonderful photos. I loved the butterflies in your picassa album. Very cool. And those roads...... amazing! Thanks for sharing.
