googlead.g.doubleclick on this site !!!

Post by Ric »

I think this site is using googlead.g.doubleclick.net, maybe to load ads or something. i'm no expert but it gets loaded on my machine and keeps me from being able to use the back arrow to return to a previous page.

Can someone check out what i think I'm saying and get rid of this problem ?

And no ads on the site today. This is how it was when I joined (no advertisements) and I like it.

Without the operating system, and browser (and version number) figuring out what is going on will be hard.
We all have the same bikes, but not computers. The issue is not with the site, it's on your computer.

First thing to try is to go into your internet options, and clear the temp files and cookies, passwords (if you don't remember passwords, don't clear passwords.) and clear the browser.

The choose Start, choose Run, type CMD press Enter:

when the black box comes up, type in:

ipconfig /flushdns

press Enter.

Reboot your computer and try again.

My 'back' button works, but I have to click it two or three times, and when I right-click on the button to see the 'history' afterwards-- that googleads URL appears two or three times.

I'm using Internet Explorer 9.

I'm using IE7...version 7.0.6002.18005.
Don't have the problem on other sites.

Yup, seems to be working. I also notice that the ads on the bottom of the screen are entirely gone now. Seems to me thay were displaying that "Internet Explorer cannot display this page" before.

Can you hide ads from paying members and only make them visible to basic users? That would be awesome.

ok so please be careful overcliking on ads - one or two clicks a day please! What happened was people overclicked and google banned us from using ads... forever!! Bastards! haha :)
Oh well, was fun while it lasted..

I'm trying amazon now which works differently. We dont get cash for clicking on the ads or even seeing the ads anymore, but if you click on the ads and then buy something from amazon, we get a kickback on the purchase. So if you want to make an amazon purchase, click on the ad and then go through our site to get to Amazon''s site. :) I think you have up to 24 hours or something for the purchase to count.

There are a few other pay per click sites, but I'm going to try this for a while to see if it works for us.
