The Man!

Riding my F-650ST (aka "Thumper") home from work, huge traffic jam at the highway on-ramp. I start splitting lanes, like any X-motorcycle messenger would, and blow by a cop. I pull over, kill the bike, and he pulls up next to me. He looks me up and down, through the open passenger window of his squad car. It's the 1st 100 degree day of the summer, and I'm in full, all-black, leathers, with a reflective safety vest.
"Yeah, I'd have done the same thing." he says. "Be careful." , and takes off down the break down lane.
It was like I waved my hand and said "You don't need to see my identification."
