We spoke over the phone about this and how dangerous a leaking brakline is if you need to make a panic stop. I was surprised at how difficult it was to find a SS braided mesh brakeline kit on the Net. It took over a half hour but I found a SS line kit made just for your bike!
Go here: http://www.pashnit.com/product/galfer/brake_lines.html
Scroll down to the BMW chart listing and find your bike. Use your mouse to Scan-n-Copy the front line kit part# FK003D306-3
At the top of the BMW chart click on the yellow "Buy Now" rectangle.
That takes you to another screen. Scroll down to the 3rd long red bar that says "FRONT Brake Line Kit - Galfer (2 or 3 Line)"
Paste that FK003D306-3 part# into the empty white "Part No" field. Then select "Add To Cart". Those other 2 "Add To Cart" fields are for upgrades to colored banjo fitting and bolt and "OverLength" lines for taller or more rearward than stock handlebars.

That kit comes with all the parts needed to replace the stock non-ABS lines. It's $93.95 with Free USA Ship'g!

I ordered mine from here: https://www.motobins.co.uk/
It's in the UK but they ship to US for a very low rate. I bought all front & back SS brake lines for $100 delivered. Excellent deal.

Just for the record under this topic.

Spiegler makes a "plug and play" system for the R1100R, front and back.

Installation was a piece of cake.

I went with Galfers for mine. Installation was a breeze, they were a bit less expensive than Speigler, and I think the yellow goes nicely with the pin striping on my "763" paint scheme!
