slider/bung question

Post by LeonardoNYC »

Been looking at a few of these on touratech and revzilla. Are these sold in pairs typically? The wording on the sites seem to be that pricing is for single sliders and at around $80 a pop, four would be pricey. Also if I have engine guards/covers would these areas the bung is on really come contact with the pavement? They worth the investment?

Thanks

The only slider/bung I'm aware of on the R1200R is the one at the pivot between the final drive and paralever arm. That pivot joint will touch in a RHS drop. Other than that I think the bike will rest on the valve covers and tires in a drop.
