Re: Exhaust wanted UK
silencer or CAT? I seem to have mislaid my spare can, but I do have a mint catalyser box.
Re: Exhaust wanted UK
Sorry, should have been more explicit, looking for an aftermarket silencer, Remus or something similar.
Re: Exhaust wanted UK
Well patience paid off and I won a titanium Remus can and 'Y' piece on eBay, received both in great condition and will fit soon.

Good stuff.
Don't forget to re-plumb the lambda sensor back into the y-piece. It's a bit of a pita iirc as it's cable-tied in some awkward positions.

I remember this from an R1100S, the cable seems to twist around when turning.

Re: Exhaust wanted UK
The trick is to disconnect it at the other end - Not sure where the connection is as standard - somewhere under the tank IIRC. I know I've moved mine to be just above the fuel-disconnects so I can get at it without taking the tank off if I need to.Andrew s wrote:I remember this from an R1100S, the cable seems to twist around when turning.

Cheers Ricey, will have a look.
Re: Exhaust wanted UK
Well took me 7 months, but that's the 'Y'piece and end can fitted.
Just won a set of Ohlins shocks on eBay, so will fit them as soon as I get them, things are looking good now.
Just need new tyres and I'm ready to ride, pity the weather is crap up here.

no such thing as bad weather, just inadequate equipment.
