How do you remove the brake lever from the handlebar?

How do you remove the brake lever from the handlebar?

I want to power coat blak the handlebar but I can't remove the controllers........I am Sooooo bad??? :oops:
Anybody can help me?

errrr - I would imagine that the entire assembly should be removable after you've removed the switch assembly and found the clamping bolts?

Removing the Brake Lever

There are three (3) screws which hold the switch assembly on, and the clamp bolts for the levers are inside the switch assembly.
Screw #1 is behind the mirror stalk, remove the mirror for access.
Screw #2 is on the bottom of the switch assembly
Screw #3 is on the back of the switch assembly (facing the drivers seat).
