Trying to post images

Using Postimage as suggested - trying to post an image to test. Seems to work in the preview if I paste the https to the address line.
I guess this only works to post image files not other files that include images.
I welcome any help/comments -

There's a Share tab in upper left corner on the post image page where your image is, then select hotlink to forum, copy and paste. Or there are other choices under the 'share' -you could select 'thumbnail', and the image would be smaller here but would lead to the larger image when clicked I think. There are a few free hosting sites like this, I happen to use tiny pic but they all seem to work roughly the same. Upload an image on the free site, copy and paste the image code into the body of your message here...presto!
As I said earlier, I don't know how long images will last on the free site or any other downside to their use but I've been using it for a year plus and so far nothing has disappeared yet.
