Riding to the coast today, sunny inland but expecting typical ocean overcast. Riding 1x per day all week. Rain starts tomorrow, so unplanned pandemic free time to be used for garage Rockster projects.

Scrubbed in the Shinkos in the high country yesterday and becoming anxious to hit the road for a long trip. Saw a couple of sport guys on the road.
Today is raining and snow predicted tonight and for tomorrow in most of the places I went on my ride Sunday are under snow today.

Hard to plan anything just yet, but ready to go.

Yes winter is still here - had planned 1st NorCal trip this year for last weekend, but series of storms dumped snow on favorite mountain roads. This week's forecast calls for more cold/rain/snow in NorCal and Oregon.

But locally, it's cool rain for next 2 weeks. Cool + rain = heated grips + Gore-Tex.

Been a wet March! (need it).
I just talked to my old friend in GA and we are planning a meet up in Texas Hill country in April. He has two R1150Rs and a R1200 RT.
We try and take a ride every year ,(at least one.)

He is 86 this year. We went to the Bash in WV last year, what a great place to ride and tour. If I wasn't such a desert Rat WV would be on the list of places I could live.

I will ride over to Death Valley this week end to Panamint Valley for the night. Only a couple of hundred miles one way.

Life is good!

Cheers...
