Can anyone confirm that the system cases for the R1200R are the same as for the ST? The dealer says they're the same.
Rode a bit today: I'm really impressed with this bike's handling, power and comfort. No buyer's remorse at all.

I was at the dealership today and they put a bag off of the RT onto the R.
It was huge...

It's the same bags as on the RT. However, the bags are satin black and not painted in the color of the bike as on the RT.

The bags for the new R are the same as on the ST,RT and GT but black like on the ST.

I got my panniers today. They are huge! 33 litres each I think. You can easily fit a helmet and a cat :] It's a bit tricky to get the bags open and to get them of the bike but I'll get the hang of it. I won't use 'em all that much, but I didn't sense any big change in the feel of the bike while riding.

Good to hear. I should be getting my cases this week or next. 'Spensive as hell, but necessary. I never took them off my 1150.
